Replacing coil packs on 02 gt

To replace the coil packs can you simply unbolt the two end bolts of the rail and set it to the side or is it necessary to unhook the rail and completely remove it?

Some people say you can do it either way but its alot easier to just take the rail off

you dont have to take the fuel rails off. just the little bolt holding the coil pack in itll flex to the side and pull right out.

IIRC use a 7mm or 8mm wrench on that bolt. dont make more work for yourself and take the fuel rail off

As others have said, you do not have to remove the fuel rail--just unplug the connector and remove the single screw, the boots are more than flexible enough to get the coil packs out...
