Compression test results

Cylinder#1 - 152(slow), #2 - 150(slow), #3 - 180, #4 - 170, #5 - 178, #6 - 170, #7 - 170(slow), #8 - 152(slow)

Car was warm, each time i cranked it over about 4 times, 5 for the slow ones. If i was to have a bad valve, wouldn't it be like 90 compression or something? I also found a good amount of oil on the spark plug threads on #'s 3 and 4, more on 4.

Car is also now throwing lean codes after i took it down the street to get gas. Do you guys think that with the new pi cams that my maf porting (removed middle shaft) which was done a couple months back could be throwing things out of wack? I also have a slight exhaust leak between midpipe and passenger manifold.

I was told that the computer on my car would re-adjust the timing itself if the timing was out of wack? True? Wouldn't the computer throw a camshaft sensor or somthing if the timing was off?

Computer can only compensate timing so much. And it may or maynot throw a camshaft sensor code. You compression looks ok to me. As long as all cylinders are within 20% of each other. Tighten up your midpipe, or have it welded up.

you cut the sample tube out of the maf??? if that is what you did and i read it right, that is your problem. i did that right after i got my mustang and it went to shit. i had to get a new maf housing for it. these cars have to have it to run correctly
