keep intake heat down?


i have a UPR intake with a 75mm tb and a C&L upper intake elbow.. the intake elbow gets SO hot that it's ridiculous..

is there any way to get the heat away from it besides throwing ice on it and being all ghetto?

its not metal nor does it suck it up from the engine bay .. :\ the intake isn't hot, the actual intake plenum is

your intake is plastyic buddy, your air intake is getting hot? and the plenum is getting hot? so does everyone elses. they get hot, thats part of being under the hood.
