help ..lose in power and shiffting becoming horrible

i have a 99 mustang GT with automatic trani ...it works like a charm but i'm facing a problem that every time i drive the car a lil hard ... for around 10 min .. ex: doing a drift on the corner , turning a hard turn while goig fats or accelerating ... the car just happen to lose power .... much of it power, and the trani doesn't shift properly and if i put in second gear and accelerate a lil it goes to 3k rpm then back to 2 then back to 3k and goes till 5 and when Put on D it always tend to go on the 4th gear and when u accelerates it won't shift to 3 .. u will have to push the gas and in sudden it will shift to 1 or 2 gears .. i don't know what is the problem from .. if i drive my car normally it works very good no problem at all ... i think its a heat related problem but it always shows that the temp is in normal

does any body have any solution for that problem ? is it from heat ? coolant ?
i have just changed teh oil recently but the problem still accrue .

first ... keep your transmission in D
your not pulling or driving in snow... no need to take it out.

second.. you probably need a tune up.

third... turn your TC off :wink

that's because your beating on it and your computer is going crazy trying to control everything and make it stable.

it's called limp mode.

limp mode is also known as safety mode.

it's when your computer retards timing and makes the motor run as safe as it can so the computer can find out the problem with the system.

You should listen to HMUSN. He knows what he's talking about, and is infact very knowledgable. And I agree. Just buy a Tuner, play it safe, and call it a day, because until you do, that shit is just gonna keep happening.
