tire ??

As of now i have 285-35-18 tires on my back wheels will 295-45-18 fit the same rim or is it to wide my rims are 10inchs wide?

also is it bad to go from 35 to 45 in tire height. i did a gear calculator and at 60 in 5th with 35 i would be at 2008rpm

where as with the 45 i would be at 1869rpm.

the 295 will fit.

I am too tired to do the math on the other question so I'll let someone else answer that

Ya i started thinking of that so i decided to go with 285 again but my new tires will be ( 285,40,18 just a hair taller than my old ones (285,35,18)

oh ya and these are Nitto 555s nope not the D.Rs winter is to close for those and for the money they cost i would rather buy some used factory rims and put D.R.s on them and use them for track only.
