People say that but I am still yet to see anyone give positive proof that with cats longtubes wont pass...

I ahve seen alot of people say that but and still without proof...So I dont see why they wont pass with cats and a tune it should be just like having stock manifolds...
I'll find that out next year

Actually You should:

LT's $900 installed
X-pipe $300
Cat-Back $350
Gears $500 installed
Cams $1000 Installed
Jlt CAI $220
Accufab TB & Plenum $400
Dyno Tune $400

=$4070
That Should put You close to 300 RWHP

You could do some suspension work with what's left.
And remember You'll need some wider tire/rims.

If you can afford it I would go with the front bumber and spoiler. But in terms of the suspension if you have the tools you can definitely do it yourself it shouldn't be too tough. Good luck with that.

Good job on the new purchase. Post pics as soon as you can.

You've got a good budget to start with on mods so that will be fun.

I would at least get a set of 4.10s, CAI, full exhaust, shifter, clutch, and a tune. It will be a COMPLETELY different car!

You don't need a tune if you upgrade your gears, but your speedo will be off. Just about every simple hand held tuner out there can correct it.

Once you start adding a lot of bolt-ons (especially the long tube headers) a dyno tune wouldn't be a bad idea, and you can get your speedo corrected at that time.
