A 13 second Mustang is not gonna beat a Evo or STI. And if by 6.0 goat you mean GTO, then it would be a drivers race.
Stock the sti is 13.5 and the evo is 13.3. SO why wouldnt it?

Wrong. Stock STI is 13.1, and the Stock Evo is 13.4. And with both cars having AWD, they will connect alot better than you will. Also they respond better to Mods, than Mustang GT's do.

I am not sure where you got those numbers from but that is fine. Like I said if my car can run a flat 13 how am I not faster than a 13.1 and a 13.4? I said a STOCK sti and lancer......i know what those cars are like modded. My point really was that with the frpp power pack, and 4.10s im happy playing around at red lights with any of the cars i named. Most kids with those cars cant get those times anyway. just like a lot stang owners cant get the full potential outta their car. (but i do think the stang is easier to drive)

The good thing about you and a lot of people on this forum is you have a lot of respect for other cars. But sometimes I think people overate those cars and especially the 350z on this forum. On the street they are not the badasses that they might be at the track. Beleive this or not I ran down an sti on the highway the other day. He blew by me, i was in the right lane behind a car doing 55. I went down to third when he saw me he punched it, he had about 10 cars on me and when i backed off at 125 he had about 2 cars. he kept going but we were cresting a hill and i was afraid the man might be on the other side. I dont know if my stang is suppose to run an sti down like that or not. but my girlfreind was with me and it did and thats what I care about. Bragging rights go to the stang for that day... whatever that ricers excuse is. That is why I ask what the 4.10s would be like at those speeds.

What I am looking for is street performance for goofing off at lights or maybe on the highway. I dont really have any intention of drag racing at the track regularly. Two many of my freinds that do that are constantly spending money on repairs. Hell I got a freind with a 95 mustang stroked 302, 4.55 gears he changes transmissions and rears more that i change tires. Ill take my stang to the road coarses and have my fun there i think its not as hard on it. I mean its hard on brakes and tires but not the tranmission and the engine. not like drag racing anyway. I would like to go to the strip a couple times to see what i could do but knowing me i would get hooked and i got to many expensive hobbies now.
I am gonna get the 4.10s if i dont like them I will put the 3.55s back in the car. Its a cheap mod anyway. Lotta bang for the buck i think.

I got those numbers from different Tuner sites, and the same numbers are on Subaru and Mitsubishi's Tech info articles, on their sites. I understand what your saying, but I am just stating that both of these cars are gonna connect better, because of the AWD, so it will always give them a much better advange. And the power both cars have, helps them even more. 350Z's are overrated I agree, but I don't worry about them anyway, unless there Turboed.

i was commenting on his opinion that a 4.10 doesnt allow you use your blower - thats a fkn stupid thing to say... (sorry but it is)

all the 4.10 is allow you accelerate faster, yah you dont get to use 1 and 2 as long - BECAUSE YOUR GOING FASTER... sometimes a 4.10 is slower in the 1/4 because of the extra shift - that doesnt mean the car is slower, it just means you have to shift at a certain point... so like on the street the 3.73 guy will have to shift also - maybe a little past a 1/4 mile mark and then he will lose, bc the 4.10 car has already shifted and is going faster

maybe thats hard to follow, but the difference is a track vs. street

I lot of guys with superchargers say that though. I have a freind with an 05 supercharged and he wants to take his 4.10s out. he said he just cant get traction and have fun in first and second and he has owned a lot of stangs.
