Code P1443 After using seafoam!??!
P1443- Evaporative Emission Control System/Vacuum System/Purge Control Solenoid or Purge Control Valve fault.
My check engine light has been on and off with this code since i used seafoam a week ago and i can't figure out what the problem is. What should i look for or do??? Somestimes the cel goes off for a little bit while driving and then comes back. When i first read what is says i tought maybe the seafoam loosened up some carbon or sludge and it got caught in a hose and just had to break loose. I'm very lost anyone got any adive?

mine car throws that code every once in a while.....
started happening when the car ran out of gas.....happened 2x so far.... i just keep my tank full and it never pops on. is ur gas cap on all the way?

my only suggestion would be to use the search feature for some tips......
from what i hear it's a really stupid code and an ongoing problem with the 4.6 i know i personally started the thread about that code a month or so back....there some good tips in there
