4.6 to c4/c6


anybody know of a bell housing adapter to bolt a 4.6 to preferrably a c4 but possibly a c6. thanks

dont do a c6, no reaosn to unless your pushing a ton of power. they are heavy also. go with a c4, but im not sure of who makes a bellhousing but i know they are out there. check out lake wood

yeah i looked through our lakewood catalog and didnt see anything. by the way this is not going into a mustang but a 71 Bronco. maybe if i can find enough parts by next spring.

ive never seen a c4 or c6 behind a mod motor, i guess its possible though. but how is the pcm gonna react?

c4's bolt up to 4.6's easy and everywhere...

im lookin to buy a c6 - the c4 is weak by comparision

r u implying they have the same bolt pattern? 4.6 and c4/c6?

no they are different but there is like a 1 year production that was the same bolt pattern but very hard to find, but they were using one on a mustang that i saw at a car show but he couldnt remember where he got it or who made it.

Contact JW Performance. They make bells for just about anything. I have gotten several C4 bells from them as well as the one for a chevy TH400 that i recently put in my 03 cobra

why would you put a th400 in anything?

Beats the hell out of me. I would use a TH350 before I used a 400

TH400 is stronger than the 350.

Reason i did not go with a glide is because i want to keep the RPM's up on the motor. Mod motors like to rev and this setup has worked great so far.

I got tired of going through C4's
