Discussing Considering getting a gt after winter, whats better... in the Modular Mustangs Forum. is there much if any difference between 01-02-03-04? or should i just try for an ... Considering getting a gt after winter, whats better...
is there much if any difference between 01-02-03-04?
or should i just try for an 05, but i dont think ill have that kind of money |

there's really no difference in the cars. they all have the same engine and power. i would look for a low mileage car that doesn't look like the shit was beat out of it on the street

01 their is a slight difference, some 01's had the T-45 mid 01+ had the tremec 3650

I would go for the 05 if you can afford it because it is the best platform to work off of.

If you can, go with an 05+, 3V's respond really well to mods!!

if your going for speed i cant justify buying a 3v when you can get a mach1 or cobra for around the 26k they go for.. and how are they the best platform, its on 2 years old, how many of the S197s are in the 10s right now...not many..those cars look the best imo, but are very hefty

jk, but with minor bolt ons you can get 300rwhp. Try that with a 2V.

or you could buy a 99, or hell, even a 98 and take all the saved cash(from not buyin an 05) and pimp the shit out of it and u could spank everyone!...Just imagine...
