Difference between 98 cobra and Lincoln Mark VIII mod motor?


Whats the difference between them other than the power rating?

different bolt cranks ... from what ive heard the markVII are no good

Only if you forge the bottom. It is my understanding that whether 2V, 3V, or 4V, the maximum hp is the same on all three because of the rods and pistons.

well that might be the case but were talking about stock power ratings. And NA 4.6s. Not the ones with SC's on them LOL.

right....but it's a lot easier to get up to that maximum HP with the 3v then it is the 2v........

yeah. they take better to mods, its just like when u P+P heads you get more power because you got more airflow into the motor right? same thing

i realize that, just saying that letting the motor breathe easier = easier to make power from mods

with just a tune and cai on my uncles 2006 gt he made i beleive 16 horsepower.

do the same thing on a 2000 gt.. youll make 5-10 if you get luckyy
