After i got the 245's i wanted to kick myself in the ass man, at the time i didnt understand the tire ratio, and what each number ment. now i do though and 245 is to small lol, the wide actually goes in, it looks bad, they arent squared off with the rim or anything, I guess the 275 will go over a little bit. at least i wont ding up my rims on an unlikely curb scrape.

You can put a 295 on a 9in rim. Done it before. I wouldn't go wider than 275 up front though. i wouldn't go any smaller than a 275 on a 9in rim, because a 275 fits perfect. Anything smaller might look small on that rim.

If i could by them again, i would of gone 295/45/17 in the rear, and 275/45/17 up front. I thought there was way too much wheel well space with the 275/40's

i'm running 255's in the front and 275's in the back, all on 9" rims, without any issues. be warned, though, cause i mounted my 275's myself at the hobby shop. it took like an hour and a half. next time i'll just pay someone to do it. huge PITA.

Just got them dun and they are much nicer than the 245/45/17's i had on the back, now i got to wait till next pay check and get the fronts, which still have a lot of tread but i am going to replace them anyways
