Problems with my mustangs exhaust

Hi guys I have a 2002 Mustang Gt and I put Magna Flow exhast system with a bbk H-Pipe without cattys and I'm getting a engine code and also it seems to bog under hard acceleration I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix it without putting my stock H-pipe back on. Some people have told me it's because I don't have any catty's. Any info will help thanks

that's a normal thing when you put on a O/R mid pipe.

The check engine light is normal with no cats. But the bogging engine sounds weird.

it could be throwing the computer wayyyy off causing the bog. id get the xcalibrator and get either an online tune or a good dyno tune.

It doesn't throw the computer off.

not sure about the "bog" problem... could be a problem with your MAF... check to make sure it is secure and facing the right direction.

just like the other guys said, the code is normal. you need to get yourself a hand held tuner in order to turn it off (DiabloSport Predator or XCAL) or buy a set of MIL eliminators to replace the rear O2 sensors.

I would go with the tuner, they are really useful and really easy to use... and will help when you do future mods that may require a slight change in timing.
