i have a 1998 mustang gt and i wanted to rebuild my rear. i was thinking of rebuilding my rear and i was wondering what posi unit is good and wich axles are good i was thinking of a gear ratio like 355s or 373s

31 splines are stronger so you could launch at high rpm on dr's and not worry so much about them breaking like if you had 28's

you wanna go with 31 spline axles for sure. the stock 28's have a tendency to break when theres more than about 350 rwhp and slicks... you wont have that problem with the 31's.
moser is definitely the way to go for your axles and parts for your rear http://www.jawsgear.com/store/catalo...p?cPath=23_417

Yeah the 31-Sline's w/ a 3:73 would be a nice upgrade! Go for it!
