Gas Milage decrease... not much, depends on if you drive a lot of town or highway.
Accel increase... possibley one of the best bang for buck parts you can buy.

My opinion... YOU'LL LOVE 'EM!!!

I have 4.10s--I drive 11 miles to work everyday, almost all freeway with a little around-town driving and average 16-17mpg on every tank. I put my foot in it most of the time, but not to-the-floor, balls-out revving the sh*t out of it. A recent trip from L.A. to Vegas gave me 22.5mpg, averaging 80mph which puts rpm's @ about 3 grand. I don't know about 0-60 times, but you can feel a huge increase in torque and the acceleration is very noticeably better. SUMMARY: well worth it for me!!!

+1...

I just swapped from 3:27's to 4:10's in my 01 Cobra and all I have to say is WOW. Enough said. The performance increase is sooo nice that gas milage doesn't matter anymore. Plus gas milage shouldn't be important in a sports car. They suck gas as it is...

+2
i did it with my vic and i went from 20 mpg to 17 when i switch but if i put it to the floor it just rolls smoke off the tires idk i don't mind losing the 3-4 mpg for the increase in power i mean its worth it to me i love being thrown back in to my seat when i put it to the floor .i mean also the vics heavier than a mustang and the 4.10s really gave the car a wake up call.
