What Year Stang Should I Buy?

Need some help. I was thinking of buying an older mustang to fix up as a project car. I have always loved Mustang's but never bought one for whatever reason.

What year GT's are the best for modifying? Should I try to find an older 5.0 or stick with a 4.6? Not 100% sure on what exactly I will do to it but I know one of the first things will be getting a SuperCharger thrown on it.

Looking to spend maybe $10,000 - $12,000 for the car and fixing it up over the next few years.

Who makes the best SuperCharger for Mustang's?

Thanks!

the fox body stangs with the 5.0 are the easiest to modify and give big hp. the best supercharger is a kenne bell or a vortech.

whipple? really dude?

If you want a sick drag car, get the 5.0.

If you want a sick street machine, get the 99+ 4.6.

5.0 or 4.6...mmm well if it were me i would pick an 04 4.6 or something around that, but if ur looking for money purposes then go with the 5.0, there a little bit cheaper cause there older and u can do a little more with them, there not made up of all computers like the newer cars r!! oo and the supercharger question, i would say vortech but im not that familiar with superchargers but my friend has one of those and it seemed great!! soo good luck

if you want a car that people will absolutely love, get an old muscle car, turn heads everytime you drive it, they're fun to work on, and if you ever get it completely restored it'll be worth way more than any newer stang with umteen mods, mine turned antique this year, 35 years and its doin good, and the sweet thing about an antique car is the value will only keep going up, as for newer ones they keep going down, but if ud rather spend money on a newer one, itd probably be more reliable
