1995 cobra

Hey all,

I'm looking at getting an older cobra, and I am looking at a 1995 cobra... Does anybody have any opinions on the 95's... I don't know much about them. If I'm correct, they had the 5.0 motor in them with 240 hp correct?

What do you guys think about those cars?

I should also add that I'm not really interested in the the biggest hp car from the beginning... I just want a cobra platform that I can build up to the big hp. The 95 I'm looking at only has 38000 miles on it.

u'd prolly get a better response in the 5.0 section.

u can make that car pretty quick, cheap to. ur right about ur numbers and the motor. I used to be a 5.0 guy

The cars really only worth about 6 or 7 grand. The cobra platform isn't anything special as apposed to the modular cobra platform. U can make a stock 94 gt just as fast with the same amount of money as u can a 95 cobra.

there the same platform basically

96-99 and 01 cobra's are a diffrent platform then 96-04 GTs.

Unless you like the fact it's a Cobra (I do), then pick up a GT for even less or if you have bucks and want to modify DOHC then start checking out 96+, it really wouldn't be that much more. I don't remember anything too incredibly amazing about the 94-95 Cobra, seemed like a modified GT from the factory, but this is all based on no knowledge.
