Please Help Me!

I had a new Centerforce Dual Friction clutch put in last week. The guy at the mustang shop said that I needed to put a firewall clutch adjuster? He called it something but it had to do with being able to adjust the clutch pedal. My clutch is all the way at the floor and with my foot on the floor at idle it feels like the clutch is still slightly engaged. The guy at the shop is blameing this on not having this 300.00 dollar adjuster WTF? I wish I couldd remember what this thing is called but I can't. My question is do I need this and if so can I put it on without needing a lift. Should I take the car back and make this guy fix it? The guy that put it in is not the owner of the shop. The owner will be back Monday because he and his wife also race and were in vegas. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED....

I don't know if you need that part or not but it sure isn't $300.

It would be awesome if people would give some info on their car instead of having us play guessing games.

mineral

you will need the firewall adjuster, which is normal when changing to an aftermarket pressure plate, to space the throw out bearing back

first i've seen of an adjustable cable but should work the same

they are easy to install just remove the cable from the clutch pedal and screw the firewall adapter in the place where the factory stop was and slide the clutch cable back in and screw it till it snugs up and find where the clutch is at an adjust from there
