302 HO in a 03 v6 stang

I have a 03 stang with a 5 speed v6 in it. I recently bought a 302 Ho that I want to put in it but am confused as to what transmission i can get to fit. I wanna stay with a standard. Is there a tranny that would be better? Or can I just tear down and beef up the transmission thats in it now and get a new bell housing to match up?

i used to work at a ford speed shop and weve had a couple in there with this swap.
theres a couple aftermarket companies that make every damn thing for this swap ( engine mounts, tranny mounts, crossmember, ect.)

....... i would figure that im drawin blanks at the moment, ill get back to you on that

your trans is probabaly jus a weaker t5. You could bolt the thing up, but i doubt it'd last long behind the v8. You should get a WC T5 to mate with it.

There shouldnt be much difference between the two bolting up so most of your parts should be reusable. Dont quote me on that though, look into it before making a decision.
