Not Starting On My 99 GT That Has Been Sitting
I had a post up before and its pretty bad how ive mistreated my car but ive had to let it sit for the past year. The car wouldnt start so I first tried replacing the fuel filter and then then today I put in a new svt focus fuel pump. Still no start.
The check engine light is on and the battery light is also on for some reason. I fully recharged the battery so its not that. I plug in my scanner and it doesnt seem to read the computer right, a few system lights are flashing(on the scanner) which is weird and it says no codes are present but the check engine light is on. why would the battery light be on? the car turns over perfectly and the alternator was replaced just alittle bit before the car was parked. any ideas? |
