New Stang?

So my mom's put it in my head to think about getting a newer stang... currently I have a 96 GT with pi intake and possibly heads... I'm looking at either an 01 gt or a 99 anniversary edition. The 01 has 52k and the 99 has 56k has some mod's done to it (subs, flowmasters exhuast, intake) Both have black leather and a 5 speed.

The 99 is private seller for 8950 the 01 is a dealership at 13500

Which do you think I should buy? Personally I'm thinking the 99 but depends on condition.

I would also go with the 99. About equal miles and a little bit of mods plus the 01's have a few things that varied that year that i would want to have to deal with.

id go with the 99. the 2001 is way over priced. Dealers scam you soo bad. i worked at a dealship this summer and we gave a kid 12,000 for his 03 and we turned around and marked it up 17,000. RIP OFF. I feel bad for the sucker that buys that. But yeah if the 99 is in good condition that seems liek a pretty good deal. 99 are acually cheaper then 9,000 from what kbb.com says, but try and go a little lower if they will.
