Auto Retard Unit On Knock?

is there any sort of knock retard unit that will detect knocking and retard the timing a certain number of degrees when knocking is present?

When knock is detected the computer is supposed to make the car go rich to try and eliminate the problem.

You may be right. I know in 02 that feature was on the vettes. Maybe not the mustangs though.

05+ and 03-04 cobra's have a knock sensor... not 2v's

I would like an aftermarket unit... preferably one that isn't 600 bucks like the one in the new mm&ff issue

Or you could get a better tune..

no big deal man, I'm just trying to find a cheaper way of doing it... or I may just hookup like the safeinjection unit I'll get when I eventually get the water meth injection system and hook up the 12v signal to a bypass valve or something
