3.90 Gears
Does anyone have Motive 3.90 gears? I never could decide between 3.73's and 4.10's since I have a manual and 3.90 is like right in the middle but I dont know anyone who has them....This would be for the GT i'm getting ready to buy not my V6..

3.90's are a good gear the reason people dont run them on here is because it is not a ratio Ford Racing offers. Buy them and tell us what you think.
And the guy running the boost I would go 3.73's

3.90s are gonna be a bit too short for 9-10 psi, but if you ever wanna dial up the boost, you're really gonna wish you had gotten some 3.73sI have a buddy who has 4.10s and 12 psi with a whipple... it's a little overwhelming to say the least. |

if you're running an n/a car...go with the 4.10's...the 3.90's there's virtually no difference between the two.
there's virtually no noticeable difference between the 3.73's and the 3.90's either if you're running a FI car, then 3.73's is the way to go. and you're only gonna lose 1 - 2 mpg overall for the 3.73's, 3.90's, or the 4.10's

They all say theres no difference between the gears but just that little bit of difference is what makes the difference. I have 3.90s and my buddy has 4.10s hee cant hook very well with just street tires but i can prolly b/c of the little difference thats there between the two gear ratios.
also dont let us decide what gear for you to get remeber its your car you are the one who has to drive it not us get what u want.
