One problem people are experiencing with aftermarket intakes on blower cars is boost loss.. The new trickflow for example flows better, but with say a normal 10lb pulley, a car will make roughly 2lb less boost. Sure once you change pulleys to get boost back to normal it makes more power, but would it have not made more power with the 2nd smaller pulley with the stock intake?
All these new intakes look great, i'm not sold yet though, especially since the cheapest one yet is around $800.. (not including the typhoon)

If you get the Cobra throttle cable you sould be fine. Just tell them youi are looking for the one that is 40in. I have one and it looks like it would be long enough.

So I know with a power adder, the intake is going to make a huge differance. But I want to know, on an engine with nothing but P&P heads and some good cams, Full exhaust and a tune, is this going to be worth it? More so than a Typhoon, or a Hardball from Texas hot rods.
