ohh, your talking about the challenger? nvm.

how much do they weigh?

if they have the same motor as the SRT8 chargers, and 300C's, the cobra will still have more power, and weigh less.

i think they have the same engine 6.1L hemi but 392 cu but not sure on the weight...
but producing 425hp 420ft/torque and doing 0-60 in 4.5sec

after the vid tho i think i pretty much sold on the 03/04 cobra

what would reccomend 03 / 04 what i mean is like is there a difference in performance or reliablilty,... ps. one thing i heard though was that the stock ford racing supercharger was really bad and kept breaking on people is that true??

the stock eaton SC is fine, nothing wrong with it, they dont break, people jsut replace them with a KB, or whipple because its cheap and easy to make some crazy power.

there's really no difference. i prefer 03 because 1 its gauranteed to have the light suede seat inserts, and also has the little net in the roof for a pair of sunglasses where 04 doesnt. not to mention 03 was the only year for the cobra to get the fastest color ford has produced... SONIC BLUE!!!!!!

plus you can pick up a 03 with about 40-50K miles pretty cheap. dont fear the mileage either, i know cars with KB's making 600RWHP that have 100K on them.

right now middle of the winter is the time to buy though, tons of people selling, and the price goes WAY WAY down in the winter. you can pick up some higher miles black 03's with just a couple mods for about 18.5-21 in great shape.

cobra owners take care of their cars too typically.

ohh and yes they do get good mileage. get on the highway with the crusie at 70, with not too many hills, and stock you will see over 23MPG. i got a average of 27MPG driving to florida in my old KB cobra. but around here where its quite as flat, i get about 25 on the highway, and 18 or so in the city driving like a grandma.

free is good too, but i can tell you that you will appriciate it more if you pay for it.

just respect it too, even in stock form these cars are way too much power for alot of people, and takes some discipline to drive. but learn to drive it, and respect it, and you can have 650RWHP, daily drive it, and it drives nice and easy like its a 6, and get on it, and take it to the track and run a 10 second 1/4.

possibly a little more than that, it payed down 630-660RWHP on pump gas 19PSI depending on the day, and how happy that particular dyno was. it was pretty much a dyno queen, and roll race car. below 80 had NO traction.

damn, guess i learn something new every day.

and no, i ran sunoco 93 in my blue cobra, and now i run sunoco 93 in my 04 with 17, and 19PSI, then i have a 21PSI aggressive street tune for 93 + torco, and ill be adding a 23PSI race tune and hopefully topping 700RWHP.

the challenger iin both r/t and srt8 will be half a second faster than the 300c models and srt8 300 runs a 12.9 stock on a very heavy auto, the 09 srt8s challengers(08will b auto only) will come with a viper spec t56. a 125shot&Dr's on a stock 6.1 motor will run with c6z06's a few more bolt ons and it should b in the high 10's

the great buy will b the r/t's 5.7 motor with 340hp and 350tq for the price of a mustang running 13.5's , but already have a good aftermarket for them

i havnt run it with the new combo yet, it just got done.

stock can run on 91, but no lower.

you can get a KB car tuned for 91, but you wont be able to run as much boost, or timing. you can probably only make about 580RWHP safely on 91.

a twin screw really should have 93 octane, but if all you have in your area is 91, then you can get tunes for that.
