Just curious too what u guys will think

i like both Ford and dodge car companies

but what do guys think is going to be better

an 03/04 Cobra
or the New well 09 when the come in stick
Hemi SRT8 Challenger
if u both mod them???

well you have to remember the mod potential of both of them.

also the 03/04 will murder the SRT8 stock, and not sure on the new mustangs power, but if its a GT, it will probably take it too.

I don't think stock to stock the termi is gonna "murder" a 425hp srt8 challenger. The only thing stopping the challenger from stomping the termi will be weight.

I think you will get a lot out of both of them. People already get 800 at the wheels on a stock bottom end termi so I am gonna say boost and spray the hemi and see if it will hit 800

But i love the naturally aspirated Hemi engine and how it puting out 425 hp stock and the way it has a really deep growl!

cause i might have a slight chance of getting one of these cars when i graduate

and of course if i do get one of these i want to get one completly stock so i can do the modding

The srt8 6.1 will have a bottom end to match the termi. It will be forged.

Unless you have spent time in a terminator you won't understand just how badass the cars are,they pull incredredibly hard and the whine of that blower gives me chills. When talking about wich car is faster its a matter of how much money you can spend. If you put 15k into your car and I put 15 hundred into mine you will probably own me regardless of what cars we are talking about. Why I like the terminator personally is that it is built from the factory and can handle more than twice what a GT can before exploding the bottom end and with a pulley swap, exhaust and a tune you will be hunting vipers and vettes for less than half the price, and best of all its a mustang.

claim 4.6 0-60 i beleave it was, but who cares about 0-60? its pretty much only a car selling point, and is also ussually done on street tires.

its just a hard decision for some reason

i like both equally

but if don't like the way challenger handles ,feels ,sounds, or handles then most likely i'm going to be looking for a (B-O-B Terminator stock)

Termi's are bad ass, But i don't something about a big cube hemi in a challenger makes me smile more. Bad part about it is I don't know how much of a diet the challenger can go on. I am realy interested in what the torque numbers for the srt8 will be, especialy with a couple bolt ons, exhaust and tune.

i think on the challenger if u do the basic bolt ons i think its going to make that car a beast
for me both cars give me the chills and smile more

but i have to adment i'm a sucker for Big block Hemi ever since i saw vanishing point
and since i look at the specs of the 428 cobra jet compared to the 426 hemi cuda i was in aww
and when i heard hemi's where banned from nascar cause the were to powerful

ive been in a 300C SRT8, and it was nice in side, rode great, but it wasnt very fast, and it really didnt handle, its a pig. they look sweet, but a termi is so much cooler looking, and faster.

cant speak for the new ones though. the one i was in was a 07, dunno what all they changed.

i have a feeling bolt ons on the cobra, not only can you probably get catback, intake, pulley, and tune for just over the cost of the SRT8's exhaust, but it will make more power, and be alot faster.

not to mention a KB, or whipple on a termi is also considered a bolt on.

i think it would be pretty interesting street fight if u ask me

ehh never know they might make the challenger lighter

and i doubt they have anything on the challenger srt8 and termi yet

heres a 99 cobra that a stock 03/04 would destroy rolling our on one. they dyno about 350RWHP or so stock, and you also have to remember that 03/04's were very under rated, and typically dyno 355-395RWHP. a a catback, and cold air on a 03/04 will get you around 420RWHP

This was right after I got my gears and DRs. I was a n00b at the whole drag radial thing, so I didn't even bother warming up my tires in this video. SRT Chargers are one hell of a car. Very quick once they start rolling.
