x pipe install


hey gentlemen. I was wondering will I need a tune after installing an offroad x pipe to keep the check engine light from coming on?

I tryed to buy some mil eliminators at summit racing, summit not allowed to sell them anymore..but i found some on ebay..

So will a flash tune work from sct. And what at mill deletes? Dobthetveeplace the o2sensors?

a flash tune will work. MIL eliminators will eliminate the Check Engine Light by making the computer think that the o2sensors are working right.

Do you already have a tuner? If you do, you can turn off the 02 sensors with the tuner, if not you can get MILs or use this as an excuse to buy a tuner.

thank you so much gentlemen. I have one more question. The secondary o2s they are the ones that after the down tube right? Not the ones that I will be putting in the x pipes down tube.

The ones you will turn off are the ones in the cats. The computer needs the ones in the manifolds.

forget mils.. get a diablo hand held tuner. u get power and u can get rid of the codes
