Professional Products Plenum & 75MM Throttle Body

Hey, I haven't bought it yet because I wanted you guys opinions first.. but I have the option to buy upper intake plenum and 75MM throttle body for just $200.00. Both made by "Professional Products". Is that a famililar name or just some generic BS i should keep away from?

I just thought $200 sounded like a good price, any other suggestions will be helpfull as well thx!

well i have heard to stay away from there throttle bodies. i would say go with a accufab 70mm. as for the plenum, just have your stock one ported out. the stock ported plenum will flow just as much as all of the other plenums except the accufab. i would save the money and do it that way

the ported stock plenum fell a good bid behind on the test run by modulardepot. the prof. prod. is good but stay away from the intake they make. i seen pics of water leaks on them from modularpowerhouse

I tryed Auto zone but they just sell the stock gaskets... And heard that RTV wasn't a good i deal becouse it might not seal propely and cause a vacume leak.

i have the T/B and yet to have a problem either. so far its flawless and would recomend it to anyone that is buying on a budget. i went from a stock P&P T/B & plenum to a BBK plenum and prof. parts prod. T/B and like it.

The agents in RTV also release feums that can take out your o2 sensors.
I have had good luck using cerial boxs to cut out gaskets from.
