How to clean heads?
Hey,
So I'm gonna put the heads from an 02 GT on my car, but there's some build up in the air ports (see pics). I first want to know if I should bother getting this stuff off before putting the heads on (I assume yes, but it doesn't hurt to ask). Secondly, is there an easy way to get this gunk off myself or without taking off the entire valvetrain? Oh, and ignore the cat hair... stupid cats shed and their hair floats around the garage... Thanks! ![]()

Ugh. That means I get to take off the cams and everything else, no? Any idea how much that might cost to do?

no just drop them in there. IDK my machinest does it free. But u wil lhave to rebuild the valvetrain after wards.

Rebuild as in just take apart and put back together or ???

New valve seals, and possible seats. I would do a valve job/ grind the valves too.
