Squeeling noise help!
I have a 1999 mustang gt 4.6.
I have been having problems when i press in the clutch. It makes a squeeling sound, which sounds like a rat running on a wheel. I thought it was a belt. But it only happens when I press in the clutch. I dont know I am at a loss.

So the Squeel starts when you push in? Not when its out

That sounds like a throwout/release bearing to me.

Throwout bearing. Gotta pull the tranny out. Might as well get a new clutch too. Happened to mine two months ago
