$1000 To Spend

Hey guys now that I am getting the money that I have been looking for my wife and I made an agreement that we save money and buy her a new car in Febuary and I can spend $1000 on my car.

Pretty obvious on what I am going to buy.....

SCT tuner for $390 from VMP. I trust them with my tunes more than many........

Full tuneup (Spark plug wires, spark plugs, ignition wires, and a cleanup) $180. I am going with MSD igniton wires, Motorcraft Platinum plugs, FRPP spark plug wires, and Chevron 3 stage fuel cleaner.

Then obviously some 3.73 gears!! (I do plan going boost so that is there to stay.)

My question is, is there really a huge difference in Motive over FRPP gears. I know the Motives whine a little but I could care less. I haven't heard any ghost stories about them, so I dunno.

Also any other suggestions would be nice.

As long as you've got a competent installed then there really is no difference between Ford and Motive... Ford is just easier because the tolerances are the same between all gears meaning little or no setup.

Yah that is what I figured. So I'll hopefully be able to find a good local shop that can do it. That way I don't have to drive 70 miles to get them installed. Anyone with any other suggestions or info????????
