1st things 1st... EXHAUST!!!! You cant drive a mustang and not have an aggressive tone. Get either an aftermarket X or H pipe and a catback!

It's the rear part of the exhaust system. Changing out the stock mufflers and exhaust gives your Mustang a race car sound.

ok so your exhaust is made up of 3 parts.

headers

short tube

OR
long tube (these may be illegal for your state though)

a mid pipe
3 types.. H, X, prochamber.

X
H
(side by side)

prochamber

and the third part is a "catback" meaning from your catalitic converters.. back..

they are many different brands but they all look kind of the same.

sound mostly.

the X pipe will make a little more power all together but normally how it goes is the X pipe is a little raspy in the higher rpms while the H pipe has a bit deeper of a sound to it.
