While this is true for the IRS, it's a different story with the solid rear. You will not mess up the "pumkin" you will brake an axle before anything happens to the differential.

wrong. i did a hard launch yesterday after work on one of the desert roads south of the base. i raised the rpm's up a lil bit and let the clutch out quick, but didnt let it fully engage. so then i slipped it and then let it all the way out and the tires never broke loose or hopped.

well he has an IRS. a solid can still hop too. and you can blow a axle, or the diff, or bend a axle tube.

since ive had the dr's, everytime i launch the same way i did with street tires, it hops 2-3 times and nothing more, but it bogs too much, so ill have to slip the clutch if im racing someone from a dig.

were having a car meet sat. night. thats when im gonna lower the pressure to 17-18 psi(as recommended by my boys @ MM), do a quick burnout, and then try a hard launch

how high do you raise the rpm when you launch, i have the 305/35-18 and if i launch about 2K rpm they start spining... i should have about same power as your cobra..(i think)

yeah u should be close to mine if u have 370 at the wheels. ive been launching at a lil over 2k whether i dump the clutch or feather it. but when i feather it, i keep it at a lil over 2k and then when the clutch is almost fully engaged i stomp the gas and she doesnt spin.

Again, the stock axles will break before any of that does.
