Body Work Finally

after driving around with the door and rear quarter banged up since before i got it. Well shes finally getting the body work fixed and the paint done. I am going with ppg primer sealer, sherwin basemaker black, 2 coats of 04 paint code G6 mystichrome, followed off with 3 coats of sherwin cc939 super glamour clear. it is going to look amazing. I only have what 1000 into paint and 1500 into labor but the car is going to be amazing.

and now after body work done and sanded with 500 waiting to go in the booth for the sealer to go on

and ill update with more after the process goes on

it is supposed to be done for me to pick up on thursday before i head up to my hockey game
we'll see how it goes

is it all gonna be the same brand of paint? i know the mystichrome used to be taken to the shop by a ford rep he wold mix every thing and take the left overs with him cuz ford didnt like leaving it at the shops. if its not all the same brand of paint products make sure they will work togeather. i know it sounds kinda weird but not al paints work with each other.

yeah i know what is happening with the paint. as long as you know what goes on when you are ok. I sell automotive paint to ford and the body shops in my area. We actually are a ford distributor for parts. we sell $30,000 a month to the ford deals in motorcraft parts.

have you actually talked to anyone that tried to get the paint and that happen not being able to get it i mean. all i did was talk to the dealer he called it in and got me the 2 special multitone bases for me to mixe up the paint. i actually got enough paint to mix 2 full quarts of paint up for the job. still at roughly 550 a quart you dont want to mix too much up
