I have been looking for some mods i can do myself, and i am a bit confused when it comes to the difference between cai's and air filters and whatever is called something similar. They might be the same thing but, any help?

CAI is a cold air intake. It places the inlet for the incoming air outside of the engine bay to draw cooler air in, and make more power.

THe air filter is just the filter. You can get a few hp by switching to a high flow filter like a K&N.

CAIs will generally run you better than $200, the air filter alone will be no more than $50 for a *really* good one. But, you'll definitely net more power from the CAI.
