CAI Contradicting With Throttle Body Spacer!

HELP! I just ordered a BBK Cold Air Intake and a Motorvator Throttle Body Spacer from RPM Outlet. I opened the box and found instructions to put on Under drive Pulleys I was highly pissed off when this happened. I got the Spacer on and started taking the factory intake off to replace it was the BBK CAI system. I got everything off and got the setup on and I went to place the Throttle Sensor on the Intake Elbow and it wouldn't fit. It would not reach. Also they never sent me two clamps for the rubber gasket between the Intake Elbow and the Throttle Body itself. I only had one from the stock Intake Tube. The Intake Elbow wouldn't stay in the Throttle Body and the sensor wouldn't reach to connect. Does anyone have a Throttle Body Spacer and a CAI ???? If so, how did you get it to work? Am I doing something wrong??? Please help me!

I really like the throttle body spacer, I can tell a difference in acceleration in the car. I would like to have both? Anyone have that combination? If worse comes to worse, I may just get rid of the spacer.

I just removed the Throttle Body Spacer, and I installed the BBK CAI..... Since they shorted me a clamp, I had to get zip ties to keep the boot tight around the Inlet tube and the throttle body, there is one clamp that I have on there, that was off the factory tube. It was loose so I put the zip ties on there until I can get another clamp! I love the CAI "whooosh" sound when I stomp the gas, I can't wait to get an exhaust now!

the tbs actually moves your torque band down to a little better area youll feel it in the city but not a whole lot on the highway. i had them on my sixers but dont have room to put it on my 4.6

I had the same problem with mine. I bought the bbk cold air intake with the throttle body spacer, I had a mechanic install mine though. He called me saying he was having problems. You have to cut an inch off your cai to make it fit. The cai isn't measured out for that inch. So you have to take it out. I had him cut the inch off for me, and everything else bolted right up with no problem

I got a plenum and throttle body spacer too and quickly realized that they are JUNK. They add absolutely NO horsepower and are awkward to fit. Seriously, get your money back and spend it on a tank of gas.
