if you want headers id do longtubes shorties are a waste for power gains. and if you do longtubes you will need a shorty midpipe. gears will prob be cheaper

What do you like H pipe, X pipe, Prochamber?
And dont listen to 03 guys on header issues. Your car will not see the gains from long tubes that an 03 would see. Guys expecting 20+ horsepower gains with long tubes on s197s get their feelings hurt real quick. Shortys can show good mid rang HP and TQ gains on your car for a lot less money then longtubes. You wont see the top end gains that long tubes bring but 10 and 12 midrange hp and tq gains are hardly a waste of money. matter of fact for a street car they are just a valuable. Think about this for a second, I spent 1900 on exhuast. The best on the market, kooks catted x pipe with magnaflow cat back into magnapacks. I got a full race exhuast and i gained 12hp. Thats a $158.33 a hp. And the o/r kooks setup only picks up about 3 more hp. I have seen it. 4 guys on this site with long tubes on n/a s197s and all of them have only seen 10 to 12 hp. Sn95 stangs and older see much higher gains with long tubes, and they think that we will as well. We dont. I sell both and will make more off you if you buy long tubes. Im not trying to steer you either way. Shorty's with a splice in prochamber or and x pipe and you can some decent power gains. spend a 1/3 of the money and stay street legal. Just a thought.

Point well taken. not done a lot of research on the difference of pipes and that's when you peeps come in handy with all your experience.
Richard: Get me a couple of options and cost and and I will get this done today hopefully
