open differential (non-posi) or "pi" or a non 'pi car' or posi trac?
...what is all this posi stuff?

pi = performance improved. it's the heads/cams/intake differences betweed the
96-98 GT and the 99-04.

open diff means you don't have a traction lock.. means you only spin one tire.. not power both..

oo so thats like when only the back right tire spins cause it get more power...

say i gave it enough power to make one tire spin, but then i got tlock and gave it the exact same ammount of power... with tlock would neither spin or would both spin?

if neither spun you would go nowhere.. tires are meant to hook and go. lol

but yes with a t lock you would get power to both wheel instead of just one.

lmao.... pi stands for power improved heads 96-98 have non pi (power improved) heads 99-04 have pi heads it has nothing to do with the differential or positive traction (posi trac) thats why there's such a power difference

i dont know if they come stock or not i know 96 and lower dont they have lsd

^ yes they do.

it's 85 and 86 .. is when all 8.8's (GT's) came stock with a t lock.
