what do yall mean when you say:
open differential (non-posi) or "pi" or a non 'pi car' or posi trac?
...what is all this posi stuff?

pi = performance improved. it's the heads/cams/intake differences betweed the
96-98 GT and the 99-04. open diff means you don't have a traction lock.. means you only spin one tire.. not power both..

say i gave it enough power to make one tire spin, but then i got tlock and gave it the exact same ammount of power... with tlock would neither spin or would both spin? |

if neither spun you would go nowhere.. tires are meant to hook and go. lol
but yes with a t lock you would get power to both wheel instead of just one.

lmao.... pi stands for power improved heads 96-98 have non pi (power improved) heads 99-04 have pi heads it has nothing to do with the differential or positive traction (posi trac) thats why there's such a power difference

it's 85 and 86 .. is when all 8.8's (GT's) came stock with a t lock.
