Cam?
The previous owner and my mechanic both said there was a cam in the car. And thats the reason why it shakes a little at idle. Could that be true?

That would be my guess. Aftermarket cams usually give the car a rougher idle. When in doubt, trust the mechanic. You could always rip it open and check though lol.

Theres lots of reasons why a car can shake or have a rough idle, it doesnt neccesarily mean the car has an aftermarket cam. Have a mechanic look over the car, and make sure everything is legit before you come to that conclusion.
