Brakes

Hey, I need new brakes in a bad way for my 02 GT. There is a blue line wearing into the rotor that a mechanic told me is due to the calipers not being able to close all the way and they need to be overhauled. I would rather go ahead and replace them all around with Cobra calipers, new rotors, pads and brake lines, but i don't know if there is anything else i need to know. Also, how hard would it be to do it myself. I have never replaced calipers before. Do you have to get new rotors machined or turned one time before you install them? What are the best pads to use? I also heard about having to use an adapter plate for the rear calipers, if someone could clue me in on that, and just about everything else concerning upgrading the brakes, it would be appreciated. Thanks

A brake upgrade is always goodtimes...

You can buy a kit...Its not a hard job to do...The hardest part of the whole thing is bleeding the brakes...

I say go for it...

You can grab the kits on ebay for a nice price and also www.americanmuscle.com

Best of luck
