What does it consist of? Is it the spring, shock/struts and sway bars combo?

I think the only real advantage to it, say over a MM grip box, is that if you have the dealership install it, it won't void your warranty.

Well he already has a supercharger, so I'm sure the warranty is gone already.

I thought there was a Ford Racing supercharger that had the same deal, so I didn't want to make the assumption the warranty was already voided.

Other than that, if the car is already bought, and the warranty already voided, you can buy better equipment for the same money, i.e: Maximum Motorsports :: The Leader In Mustang Performance Suspension

That link will go straight to the starter box for S197 chassis.

There are definite positives. But I'm sure you can get something better for around the same costs.

I would go with the 1.) BMR Lowering kit-$500, 2.) Tokico HP shocks/struts-$360, 3.) Steeda Upper & Lower control arms (Stop the hop pkg)- $300. 07stanggt can probably give you a great deal on all that

1.) BMR 05-08 GT Lowering Package [LP001] - $495.95

2.) Total Tokico Front & Rear Strut/Shock Package - For 05-08 Mustangs - StangSuspension.com

3.) Steeda Stop The Hop Pak - '05-'08 Ford Mustang

the frpp handling pack is nice. The sway bars and springs are great. I have those springs on my car. The shocks/struts are also very good. The biggest POSITVE you are looking for is that the dampers are specifically tuned for those springs and for our mustang. Key in a suspenion setup is the parts working together. Unless your interested in adjustable shocks, which you could get for little more then the frpp dampers, they are not cheap thats for sure.

It is a good hanlding setup on a race track.

Price wise its certainly competive, not at msrp but the price you can get it for, i think i sell it for 1199 which is about what other people sell it for. if you add everything up its not a bad price.

and on the warranty question, what you get with frpp packages is a 3yr/30000 warranty on parts and labor if a dealer installs the parts. certainly sway bars and dampers are not voideing any part of your powertrane warranty regardless of what brand you buy or who installs them. But that warranty with those packages is a decent thing if your not installing it yourself anyway. The problem with other parts that may well have their own warranty is that more often then not they are not going to pay for the labor cost of you haveing to have say your struts removed and returned and what are you going to do until you get your new ones? put your stockers back on, but then your paying for labor twice, to take them off, and put the replacements back on. Also a lot of times what companies want you to do is buy a new part, and give you a refund when you return the old one. Dealers sometimes deal with this for you but, not always.
