Traction Control

Greetings,
I threw some snow tires on my 02 GT and around the same time I noticed the traction control coming on but it wasn't acting like brand x that I used to drive. The light comes on and it revs a few hundred rpm more
I'm used to traction control not being noticeable. I took it to the Ford dealer for a look / see and the mechanic says it's the snows. They're the same size as the street tires. Anyone have any experience with this? Does increasing your rear tire size affect the traction control? Doesn't seem logical.
Thanks !
- Ken

Snow tires on a Mustang?

Just pulling your chain man. I am fortunate to not live in the snow belt so I don't have to worry about it. I am sure there are more than a few who use there Mustang as dd duty in cold climates and can chime in.

id rather beat my balls against a wall than to drive mine in the snow again! for the past 2 years ive had to. i went to a 275 on mine and the tcs system is the same. worthless and a waste of an option! cuttong out, then trying to rev up; over and over again. the tcs wont change the way it acts just on a street tire change.

Traction control is the devil in mustangs. It really doesnt not work at all. Just bogs the engine till either you gain traction or the car stalls out. Thank god mine is tuned off.
