Trojan, Gears are going to cost about $250 (provided you install yourself), A tuner is about $400, you can get a cat back exhaust and it will put at about $1000 for everything, but IMHO I would wait until you can get the mid pipe aswell.

checked out exhaust clips. I like the sound of the mac pro chamber but is it worth the extra $ over o/r x pipe. are all the after market exhaust going to give you about the same power and it is all based on what sounds best to the owner. also since here in KY we have no inspection sound I go w/o cats.

I personally have the O/R Pro Chamber, with Borla Stingers, and it's sound like pure sex.

If you don't have to worry about inspections, then ditch the cats.

you don't have exhaust tips and the exhaust gets "dumped" right after the mufflers.

They're loud in the car, I'd go on youtube and research exhausts

I've seen dynos where they compared an O/R X w/an O/R Prochamber on a S/C Saleen and the Prochamber showed a 2 rwhp and 9 rwtq gain over the X. The HP gain was minimal, but the TQ gain was decent. Also be aware that this car was in the 350+ rwhp range. A car with less mods will show less gains/differences.
