Mustang Long Distance Races
Hey whats up guys? I'm entering the AKA Rally, Silver State Highway Challenge, and the Sea to Shining Sea Rally in 2007...For the uninitiated, these are long distances races that start on the East Coast and End on the West Coast.
I'm considering investing $20k in a 99'-'04 Mustang GT. Ideally, $14,000 with some mods and the extra $6k for added fun. But before I do so, I wanted to know if you all think that is a good choice for a Long Distance Racer? Could it handle mountains, winds and turns, balls-out desert straight aways, and not get me killed? Or do you think I should look somewhere else? And, if so, what would you suggest? |
