I just installed a sunpro tach ( cp2012) I took the signal off my ecu. Same place as my raptor shift light & my msd window switch. But the tach won't rise above 800rpms Do I have to have a tach adaptor? And if so Why?
oh now that i think about it you will need a tach adapter, the signal the tach needs is a 12v square wave pulse and the signal coming from that wire is a sine wave. The raptor shift light works there cause it is programed to read the sine wave and same with the window switch.
Oh cool that one will work :rockon I'll stop down later and pull it out of your car.
Thanks
Troy
