Can both drivers actually drive? That is a big factor.

Do you think if i get flowmasters, a cold air intake and 4.10s than i can beat one? LOl o yeah its not me its my dad, He can drive insanely well. He used to own a 85 black mustang 5.0, Kept that stock and sold it for an 88 red one, modded the Sh!t out of it, did quarter mile in 13.2 with no nos, 0-60 in 4.8, then it got stolen, (o yeah both 5 speeds) then he owned a corvette, sold that 10 years ago because he didn't like it, So for 15 years now he has not had his mustang. Yea so.. O yeah if we got 4.10's flowmasters, xpipe and cold air intake what things would we need to make it work? some kind of tuner? what about for the speedo?

yea a hand held tuner would take care of the speedo and give you a little more power. some suspension work would help to get off the line quicker. with those mods if you can drive you will hang with the sti

whats a hand held tuner? Wait does that fix the speedometer after gearing and remap the efi for the new mods? Im used to quads so like im used to rejetting, can someone inform me what you have to do after mods? cauz how can just a tuner fix both the speedometer and the mapping? lol can someone give me a good tuner to use? What about a less governed chip??

data logging is only when you have wide band 02 sensors.

it reads your air/fuel ratio multiple times per second and lets you tuner know exactly how much you can advance your timing among other things, without getting detenation.

basically ... x-cal pwns.

depends on the GT that you have also...

a 96-98 GT or lower with just 4.10s not a chance
a 99-04...would probably still lose, the sti has like 300hp i think

an 05+ GT..with 4.10s would have the best chance obviously..has 300hp but the turbo on the STI and AWD ...makes it hard

i'd do what they sed above get a tuner or long tubes and full exhaust

yea they are a mid to low 13 second car i believe. you might get him off the line but that turbo kicks in hard. i was pretty impressed with it.

check this link out...they compare a 2004 sti with a 2004 cobra....just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page

dont get me wrong...I love my mustang, but its really impressive what they are getting out of that 4 cylinder...
