4.10 break in period


so i just got my 4.10s installed yesterday and i love em!!! now the only question i have is what is the break in period? do i have to have some crazy amount of miles or just a few heat cycles or what?

I got 4.10s and didn't do any heat cycles. I ran them hard.

some may argue but if you have a good install there is no need for a break in. if it was a bad install you're going to have problems regardless of heat cycles or whatever. i was lucky enough to have a flawless install on mine and i had it sideways when i left the shop afterward. just give it hell and if you have problems you have a half ass install.

i pounded mine from the second we were doing installing them... no need for break in period...
