cobras and gts dont sound the same. i want to try the xpipe. i like the sound of flowmasters and o/r h pipe

theres no cats on it, so it says its only for off road use

correct no cats makes it illegal on streets so they are just for off road.

no u do not...there are shorter h pipes for long tube headers...but u can just go h pipe without adding headers

Keep in mind though that the short midpipe used with long tube headers usually don't have cats on them so they are almost always O/R. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that sells a street legal midpipe (x or h) for long tube headers.

some of my friends that have x pipes say that they are deeper then the H pipe..... I thought H pipes were deeper and X was more of a raspy sound...

h pipes are more deeper acording to many people who use them against the x pipes

yeah on here people say H is deeper, my car buddies say that the H is more "raspy"


mixed signals, looks like i have to actually hear them in person before I buy

I had a x pipe on my 95 and h pipe on my 91..I like better the x pipe, quite at iddle and loud at open throtle

i have had both on 99-04's and i like the x pipes better although they are raspier which i dont like but all in all i take the x over the h
