Welcome to the club

Sounds like you learn quicker than I did. lol

I only broke three stock driver side axles before I gave in and bought a set of 33 spline Mosers, C-clip elems., and a spool.

I made atleast 50 5k launches on a stock rear with 4:10's in my 01 GT. As far as I know its still in one piece. But I was using ET streets. I'm thinking most of these guys that are breaking them are on radials. Launching on a slick is almost like launching on a sponge. Where as a radial doesn't give to much.

as i always say.......if it broke it didn't need to be in there anyway. thats just an easy way of finding weak points.

Negative Ghost Ryder....

I was on 26X10.5 Hooser Slicks with 11 psi.

so if it wasn't being driven hard... How did it come up with 13.004@104 with only a JLT, BBK 70mm TB, Trick Flow Plenum, Diablo tuner, UPR x-pipe, SLP catback and 4.10's. Stock Bullits up front, warrior rims w/ et streets out back riding with eibach sportlines. 5k lauches w/ 1.7 60 fts

Can you come up with a logical answer as to why it would be that way? Drag Radials hook just as hard as a slick in most cases. But the sidewalls do not flex causing it to hammer the driveline. When running a slick especially at 11 psi it will absorb alot of the shock when launching and changing gears.
